DTY for June

These are just some of the AMAZING things our team has done in June:

Renee Johnson- Working 7 hours on Saturday to make sure that packaging would be completed on time.

Jacob Durham- Came in on Saturday to print 43,164 labels that needed to get sent in order to make a crucial shipment happen.

Mike Thomson and Marc Monson- Pushing to make sure that a labeling project in Seattle would get out of the door.

Debbie Johnson- Taking calls on her day off.
Shelly Harrison, Kristin Martinez, Gladys Muralles, Dave Apple, Jonathan Butler and Kenny Scribner- Shipping a mountain of product out the door on the last day of the month and all working longer to make sure it happened.

The Lambson Family- Creating family assembly lines, in order to send marketing samples out to designers and publications. This is an important part of getting our product out into the hands of editors and artists, and we appreciate their family's sacrifice.

Thank you EVERYONE for making this a great place to work!

The Trade Show Master!

Nicole Kajiyama needs to be thanked for her ability to manage millions of little details and assignments as we prepare for the biannual tradeshow. She runs each tradeshow meeting like a pro, delegating respectfully so that no one is overburdened but is appropriately held accountable, and ensures not one item is overlooked.

Thanks Nicole for teaching us all how to orchestrate chaos into profits with a smile.

Spirit of Durham Enterprises Award

Don Lambson is the award recipient for July. The award is certainly well deserved. :)

Don exemplifies the Spirit of Durham in:

Attitude- He's always easy to work with, always upbeat and positive, and never seems to get frustrated when a new assignment is asked of him, even if his plate is already full. He seldom makes mistakes, but when he does he's quick to fix them without letting them bother him.

Team work- He's helpful, willing, and quick to volunteer. He takes the lead on new ideas and tries to bring them to fruition, often making a big difference.

Dependability- He gets things done-- despite hundreds of requests per week from all different angles. He makes work happen, staying late if he has to, or if he can't, coming in early. One day, while I was in China, he came in and worked on things for us until 3-4 am! If Don's in charge of something you know it will get done!
