Kristen Martinez is a lifesaver! Whenever there are time sensitive projects in the design room, or if Lori needs a helping hand, Kristen is always willing to help. She has a meticulous eye for detail and helps make sure that the projects are completed quickly and correctly.

Kristen, thank you for your terrific teamwork and attitude. You help make Durham a great place to work!

Spirit of Durham Award- Jenny Lambson

Jenny Lambson has been an important part of the Durham family for over 2 years. She was first brought in to "rescue" us on many occasions and tackle handfuls of projects that needed done. And not the super fun, easy projects….she handled the hard, painful projects and did it beautifully.

Jenny can do anything well. Whether its design work, supply chain, answering un-ending emails from numerous people, putting out fires, being on every committee possible, or working on product testing and compliance – she rises to every occasion.

Jenny has a great attitude and is always smiling. She also has a wicked sense of humor. And she gets 80’s references. She brightens the mood in any room and is always willing to help.

Notably, Jenny recently handled the LDS product re-work project. She took care of all of the problems and did it all with a smile.

Jenny Lambson is wonderful and we are lucky to have her as a part of our team.

Spirit of Durham Award - Denise Hamilton

Congratulations Denise Hamilton on winning the Spirit of Durham Award in February.

Denise is very loyal as we all know. She took time to connect with the team via webcam all the way from Hawaii not wanting to miss a staff meeting. WOW! She has been a Durham Enterprises employee since 2006. We are grateful for her commitment to the DE Family.

Denise is always reminding us that our people are our greatest assets. She cares about the team.

She is very dependable. She has recently taken ownership of a new responsibility – Brand Manager for the Gimme Clips brand. She is interested in being exposed to the numbers – managing the business not just the product. We value her drive to educate and train herself so she can add more value. She always gives 150%.

She recently increased her hours to meet the needs of her new role – now working 5 days a week and is committed to getting the job done. On top of all her responsibilities she has also been asked to source her product samples while developing 2 key program launches per quarter.

She does this all with a smile and a great attitude. I think her new catch phrase is "Bring it on..."

We appreciate Denise and recognize her for her performance and for exemplifying the Durham Attributes. Thank you Denise for all you do.

Spirit of Durham Award- Jeff Durham

To our fearless leader, Jeff Durham. Congratulations on receiving the January Spirit of Durham award!

If you ask any employee what they love about working at Durham you will most certainly hear, “I love the people I work with.” One person we all love to work with is Jeff Durham.

You can usually find Jeff in a meeting somewhere planning Durham’s future, often working long hours to help the company move forward and create a great place to work for the Durham family.

Jeff instills a family environment throughout the company and invites others to celebrate and remember what’s most important in life and business.

Jeff has a great attitude and a willingness to listen and coach, you always know you have is full attention when talking to him. He is a caring, compassionate and an understanding leader who is quick to acknowledge employee and company achievements.

Jeff leads by example willing to help out whether it’s unloading a container in the warehouse or helping out in design room. He invests his time, energy and heart into each department and employee within the company to help them growth and succeed.

In the warehouse, we have begun creating a top notch safety program with Jeff’s support. I know this company will continue to prosper with great leaders like Jeff Durham to lead us. We all are grateful for the values and direction he has added to the company.

2010 Celebration

In January, we celebrated the amazing 2009 year we accomplished as a team.

These 3 categories helped bring our revenue for 2009 to an unprecendented high.

We were treated to a delicious Famous Dave's lunch.

And were inspired by our leaders Mark and Jeff Durham.
