Recipient: Nicole Kajiyama HolmesNominated by: Don Lambson
"So far, here are just some of her amazing characteristics that help her and those around her do their jobs better:
World's best organizer. (Have you seen how she organizes her e-mails and desk area? She could teach a valuable workshop to us all.)
World's best attitude. Even when daunting assignments come in, Nicole is ready and eager to divide and conquer. She artfully assists me as I help the design team to do the same.
World's most skillful arbitrator. With diplomatic flair, Nicole is somehow able to criticize an artists work in such a positive way that the artist doesn't know their efforts are being redirected in order to meet market needs.
World's best eye for detail. Implementing new government regulations doesn't slow Nicole down. A couple of efficient meetings with all parties involved, and everyone is onboard.
Worlds best meeting planner. Naming a couple of new Imaginisce collection's is always a big creative challenge. Nicole deftly lets the ideas ebb and flow and allows for the "blue sky" brainstorming necessary to get creative lightning to strike (ok, way too many competing phrases there, sorry). The meetings are getting faster and more efficient and the end result is always a fresh new angle on 'remembering and preserving what matters most.'"
