From the first step I take into the office in the mornings, to the last wave goodbye in the afternoons, and every moment in between, Ben Durham is there, cheerfully saying hello and making sure everything is going well. He seems to have his hands in every project somehow – even the ones I haven’t heard of yet.
Ben has been an excellent liaison with many of our customers – especially the Church. I really just don’t think they could say no to his enthusiastic and sincere attitude. When it came time to do the QC on all of the Young Women’s Medallions, he was quick to offer a hand, even though his plate was already overflowing with other projects.
The i-rock has been another bumpy project, but Ben was able to work with our vendors to create a great tool that is going to open up all sorts of possibilities for our company.
Ben is also supportive when he’s asking for help – he always asks if you’ll have time, or how your current workload is before adding more items to your list. This is a rare and much appreciated quality. It makes it that much easier to help him, because you know it is really appreciated.
Ben’s enthusiasm, compassion, willingness to help others, and excellent whistling skills are the reason I am passing The Spirit of Durham Enterprises Award. Honestly, I’m surprised he hasn’t received it already.
Thanks, Ben!
