As a company, we've recently had several huge wins! We are sincerely grateful and know these successes would not have happened without your diligence and sacrifice. :) Thank you for everything you do! You certainly deserved the time to celebrate!

Spirit of Durham Award Winner

The key attributes of a Durham employee are Attitude, Teamwork, and Dependability. Ryan Johnston possesses all of these qualities. Ryan came to Durham last November and since the beginning he has been an excellent worker.

Ryan has a great attitude and is always willing to help when necessary. He goes above and beyond. During these past few months, he has worked in a very cramped warehouse with limited space. Ryan would move and shuffle inventory several times a day to make room for new products or projects. He would always do this with a positive attitude and would never complain.

Ryan is also a team player. He will take a break from what he is doing to help others, even if he is working against a tight deadline.

Ryan is very dependable. He will come in early and stay late to get the job done. He is reliable and is always ready to tackle the next deadline or project. We never have to worry if Ryan is working on a project.

Congratulations Ryan!!! We're so glad you are part of our team. Thank you for all you do.

Spirit of Durham Award Winner

Debbie Johnson is the Spirit of Durham award winner for the quarter. :) Congratulations Debbie!

Debbie is a great example of the Durham attributes of positive attitude, team work and dependability. And she has been a good example of these things for the five years she has worked at Durham.

Debbie works with almost every department and people trust and respect her because she is so willing to help. She is quick to problem solve and teach others how to do things. She can take a complicated problem and find an answer. Debbie is always trying to do things better than before and finds solutions to get better results.

Debbie also puts in many extra hours away from the office is willing to take phone calls on her days off. She wears many hats such as IT, EDI, HR and most importantly, accounting. :)

Winter CHA 2011- Los Angeles

We had a wonderful CHA show and want to thank everyone for making the event happen!!! From sales, product development, warehouse, supply chain, design, and customer service, the long hours you put in to prepare for the show, resulted in a beautiful booth layout and in some great sales.

Durham Thank You

If you've noticed how clean and uncluttered the fridge is today, it's because of Renee. :) On Friday, she spent some time cleaning and throwing out old food. Thank you Renee!!! We know you didn't have to clean up, especially since it wasn't your mess. :)

Durham family members, please help do your part to keep the fridge clean by regularly throwing away your old food.

Joan also does an amazing job keeping our break room organized, clean and well stocked. There are many times Joan will clean up messes in the microwave or toaster or things left on the tables. She's often cleaned out the refrigerator too. Joan does this quietly without anyone knowing about it. Thank you Joan!

Have you ever noticed that on snowy days, our walkway into the office is nice and snow-free? Many times Kenny will come in early to shovel and salt the walkways for us. We really appreciate the extra effort it takes to help us walk safely to our building. Thanks Kenny!
